Song stuck in your head!
Re: Song stuck in your head!
I found a little psychological trick online that may or may not work...and someone has probably already suggested it, but:
Think about the end of the song. Your mind will keep the song's thought process 'tab' open for as long as you keep the song unfinished. If, however, the end of the song is also the chorus, you're doomed for eternity.
A person who I hang out with online occasionally drilled this little ear worm into my head-and apart from the swearing, I like it :c

THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHINGBoingo wrote:If, however, the end of the song is also the chorus, you're doomed for eternity.
THIS song was stuck in my head all during my mission trip. When I was painting, when I was driving screws into fences, when I was cleaning leaves out of gutters. And the ending is quite repetitive.

Here is a song that has been stuck in my head for a bit. The song itself is a rather interesting piece. It has a special meaning to me.

Here is another that was stuck in my head for a while too. I've fallen in love with Placebo

Well, I've had this in my head ever since my third year of school, when I sang it in the school choir: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEo1yeqfBbg
I tend to hear a jazzier rendition in my head.
This is one of the few songs I wouldn't mind having stuck in my head for a while. Seven years so far, heh.

It was me.
I'm probably not the only one who figured this out myself, but I suggested the same thing.
Back in 2013 actually.
