Another shot of the DAYUM bolt. This is an earlier frame of it, showing another arc of lightning beside it.

Re: Anonymous's Nature and Weather excursions
So we did have a storm last night, and I managed to get some lightning. Right now my desktop is having a temper tantrum, so I'm forced to work from my molasses laptop to get anymore lightning pics.
But here is one I managed to get from my desktop before it threw a hissy fit last night:

Great work. You should have been at the VLA in Socorro, New Mexico today. I visited there today and got trapped in a lightning storm that I could see 13 miles of in any direction. 'Twas wild.
Can I maybe borrow one of your photos, photoshop the antennas in so I can share my excursions with my friends? XD JKJK

Re: Anonymous's Nature and Weather excursions
I went out on a two hour walk around my city, no particular destination in mind...
Came across this little guy, while sitting down on a bench resting.

Then happened to come across a door, protected by an iron grating... I wonder where it leads?

Phew, that's a long way to fall, why is there a door there in the first place?
