Some people like these games enough to take the initiative to message people about these things. I'd imagine artists like seeing that their work is known about and remembered, so it isn't that weird that he answered either. After all, most PastelGames get attributed to Mateusz entirely even when they aren't his. The only way for that to happen is if he slip into an alternate universe when the Fog Fell.
