Yes, that's an excellent thought. Moreover, I thought about that as well.
but then I remembered that the name "daymare town" is actually shown in one of the games as the town's actual name. So I had to stick with that I guess.

I see you didn't comment anything about the Daymare layers... either you didn't just see the smaller font or you thought it was a stupid idea. I personaly think it's both

In first game, right? Some kind like "Congratulations! You have successfully left DayMare Town!"? (I don't remember)

But still, why main hero asked guy at the end "Is this DayMare Town"?

The only thing I think that is relevance is the town the Main Character has entered at the end of the game is an alternate universe version of DayMare Town. Its just not called that.

My reason why I think that is because "The Tear" make it sound like a break in the space time continuum.

But my main reason is, when you get to the top, and before meeting the hooded guy, if you were to head left there is a little girl with the same expression as the kid who was just outside the Tear saying "Did you see that? I am not going back there again."

They each Mirror each other in terms of both person and reaction.

Its in the courtyard of the first game.
