Random "punishment fic" written in couple minutes for my colleague.

I read the translation (which was over expectations), and boy, I gotta say, you write really good! You capture the tense and eerie mystery of the Submachine very well! A bit of a poet, are we? ;)

Thank you very much! ^^

Dammit, too sad I had four Submachine stories many years ago, and one of them was 98.32% ready (about guy who almost died in Layer 4 Hot Sewers location), but my comp ate them all. :/
I remember I posted first chapter of one story on old forum, about Basement Exploration Team mission. Somebody remembers it?

Now I'm back into Submachine OST project, but this time... it will be in form of Game Maker Submachine-style fangame. With puzzles. If you don't solve easy submachine puzzles - no access to room with SubFLF machine, where you can listen all soundtracks from submachine games.
All credits to Mateusz.
Hope this experience will be finished.

Edit:

Still missing Isubmachine inspired me to draw this:

Uber
Sigh... Let's go.

1) Submachine Ost project

It's still active.

It will be a fangame where you have to solve puzzles in new locations to get access to SubFLF player, to listen all released Submachine ambients so far.

Still learning how to program on GameMaker, and learning how to draw good, at least on the same level as Subgod.

Release date: unknown. I still have to normally draw two dozens of locations and compile them.

2) Submachine Research Project

yeah. Collective project that was started couple years before Submachine 10 to find answers and plotholes before last game of series comes. When collective thread was closed, I just contiinued it to myself, but now it seems I will wait for release of Engine, and only then will return to this...

Project is stopped for until Engine is released.

3) Submachine stories

Oops eeps. I told I will update it every week? :?
I planned at least 200 issues for this projects, they all are in my txt file. Some of them half made. Bu tnever released.

Project is stopped until I get some inspiration.

4) mr. Stick adventure!

Oh my... poor Steve. You're stuck in that WEIRD PLACE forever.
I even launched this project on different forum, hoping people would be interested there and I will continue it. But... it was epic fail.
And now, it's still my #1 project I want to finish, just because I know I can do this (not like some other peojects from my list).
Somewhen, chapter 3, and next chapters would be released, maybe even here.

Project is temporarly stopped.

5) Submachine. Horror Experience

Ok. That's it.
It's very sad, since I had grand plans about this. Four games for series, with plot, reimagined old locations and some new stuff... Sigh.
I officially tell you that it's cancelled. Forever.
Rest in peace.

This thread can be closed: http://pastelland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=539

6) Five Nights at Submachines

The same as S:HE.
It was supposed to be part of the same universe. Four games. Midquel and sequel parts of it.
It was supposed to be actual game.
Now it's gone forever.

7) INCTINHA (Chapter 1)

Heh. It's the most interesting project for me in this list.
Because originally it was intended to be short storygame, without any graphic style so I could draw new screens in a couple minutes. It was made to make sure this story become my first story that won't be abandoned and cancelled.
But everything changed when one day, just in one day, without any warning or reasons... It made boom, and like subnet, it expanded to something hugea and chaotic. My attempts to map everything that was grown there was unsuccessful, because it would take weeks and normal PC program to make a model of what came to my mind. To record everything.
My mind tells that it's impossible to release what I planned. Even if I had team of people.
This project became the biggest actual game experience so far. And I don't know what to expect.
Only time will tell.

I know only thing: it can't be made this, on forum, because it's not forum game anymore.
So, this thread can be closed forever: http://pastelland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=579

8) Beyond

My plans for forum quest story were reimagined. Like INCTINHA, I plan to make it as a game.
Because only then it will be possible to fully descend into atmosphere of what will be happening there.
Well, I felt (even OVERfelt) atmosphere of not-game projects, like A'LLUKIN, or many horror fictions, but I believe it would be better if final project would be in game form. With sounds, ambients, where you control characters in real time.

So, this project is stopped until I release Sumachine OST and Test Sublands.

9) Uber

It has the same fate as previous one.
This pure horror survival story is turned into game form.
If I someday will begin to develop it, I don't know, should it be make before or after Beyond. Will see...

10) Test Sublands

And this is what would be possibly my first game I made in GameMaker.\
It's just one big test ground, set of different test maps/rooms where I test all possible GameMaker mechanics, where I try to create elements for all possible game genres.
But what if some crazy submachine fan will place a plot element to this mess? :?
If it will be successful, it would be this game!

Release date is uknows. I didn't even pass half way, though I successfully tested a lot of GameMaker elements.

Some time ago I decided to rethink my methods of creating something on Game Maker.
So, I decided to make general "engine", or whatever it is called officially. Something like Subgod's Float Engine, I guess.
Since now, everything will be common. Files organization, structure of information, and how game elments will be displayed for players' eyes.
And one general gameplay mechanic I wantto integrate for every project I will make, where every sentient object (including artificial forms) can have six common senses and its own brain that calculates all incoming information and responds to it. And, of course, all object, sentient and not-sentient, should have full set of "properties", so six senses could work.

Hmm... How should I call this "engine"? Bunny Engine? Exploding Engine? (I prefer the latter, it sounds cool!)
Your suggestions? :D
