Re: Submachine Wiki
Cancelled is warranted, I feel. The Farm could also be there if we can trust the Wiki. Listing every joke Mateusz made...? Less important. As if that could ever be a complete list anyway.

Re: Submachine Wiki
No, there's no good reason for that. I've never understood The Farm to be anything more than a joke, so why would it be anywhere on the Wiki.Ant wrote:The Farm could also be there if we can trust the Wiki
As for a "cancelled" section, even if it was a good idea, it's technically empty. SubEx was never started, even though it was confirmed; it was just de-confirmed, basically. It can stay where it is, categorized as it is, especially since it's not completely off the table.

Re: Submachine Wiki
Because the Wiki page for the Engine says it was mentioned by Mateusz' as if it was not a joke. To be fair, I also believe it was entirely a joke.
"The game was originally mentioned by the author in a forum post back in 2012; however, the community was very skeptical that it would ever see its release, along with two possible titles of "Submachine: The Sewers" and "Submachine: The Farm"."
I wish this could be better sourced, to be honest. Mateusz doesn't say anything useful about these game publically anyway, but even the mentions here link to semi-obscure, un-archived things.

Re: Submachine Wiki
The forum post from 2012 only mentioned The Engine and The Sewers.
The Farm was first ever mentioned on this post from 2014.

Re: Submachine Wiki
...that's clearly not even a joke. Mateusz, why do you do this to us?
Okay, so, to recap on the "existence" scale.
Engine - 2012-present
Sewer (not Sewers) - 2012-2017 (at the latest)
Farm - 2014-2017 (at the latest)
Explorers - 2017-2018 (at the latest), plus a sort of zombie-life as a maybe post 2025.
Legacy - 2018-present.
EDIT: Correction, I found mentions of Legacy in 2017.

Re: Submachine Wiki
Lets not forget about Infinite, which Mateusz discarded to produce instead the Royal Storage Facilities location in Sub10.

Re: Submachine Wiki
Wait, did I read this correctly? Did Mat ever say that the RSF was supposed to be some sort of "spiritual successor" to SubInf? I didn't know there was a direct connection between the two; I just thought SubInf was an idea that never took off, and then Mat made RSF later.Enihc wrote:discarded to produce instead the Royal Storage Facilities location
Gonna bump some topics again:
Talk:Location - Topic: "Renaming and redirecting location pages to coordinate numbers"
Talk: Cultural influences in the Submachine series - Topics: "IRL images?" and "Rename"
Talk:Portal - Topic: "binary portals"

Re: Submachine Wiki
I also remember Mateusz somewhere saying specifically that RSF was the replacement of SubInf. Maybe it was in the old MAT thread.

Re: Submachine Wiki
Hmm, well, the archive for the old Mat thread starts in 2015, so there is a good chance it is in there, if you are remembering correctly. I mean, he would not have said anything before the release, surely, and the archive... does it not start the same month? December 2015?
EDIT: Mateusz Skutnik's personal Discord server, #chatter, 02 Oct 2019, in Finnish time.
EDIT2: You guys were right, I found it:

Also, Mat can you chill? 0_o
I mean, I guess he did looking at the above, but jeez.
Also, this might be the first mention of The Big Game?

EDIT3: Is this... approving of the idea? #chatter, 3rd of October etc. etc.
That WOULD be pretty cool, not gonna lie.

Re: Submachine Wiki
That would be awesome if he got to make it
though daily updates seems overkill, maybe weekly or biweekly is a more reasonable goal.
