Re: Video Games
I had always been a huge fan of Touhou Project, but even though I knew the memes, the fanarts, the songs, and all of that, for a good two years or so, I had never bothered to play the games proper. Until last month.
And wow, how can I describe it?
little girls pwning you with their balls for 20 minutes straight
I think that came out slightly wrong

Re: Video Games
Just finished Little Nightmares.
And I have to say, I bought this game because, probably like many other people, I loved INSIDE and to a lesser extent LIMBO. I watched Pewds play through the first chapter as well, and noticed the striking similarities. Even so, I went into it myself with an almost selfish hope that since I loved INSIDE so much, I would retain that relative love for it and still think it the better out of the three.
But Little Nightmares grabbed me when I didn't think it would. I wasn't sure about the artstyle, the sort of surreal Tim Burton-esque(?) look has never been too high on my list of preferred artistic tastes, but this game pulled me in. Especially toward the end. Holy shit I was not expecting it.
It was very beautifully done and I'm going to have to spend some time thinking whether I like INSIDE over LN, vice versa, or if I'm just going to have to settle with saying that I like both equally for their own qualities.

Nice! I love them both, and also (a little less) Limbo. You know, you don't have to have favorites or compare 'em

Game Awards 2017 reaction post
1. New game by Campo Santo (creators of Firewatch) looks awesome. Takes place in Egypt, and I'm excited.
2. CUPHEAD WINS BEST ART DIRECTION FUK YEA
3. Bayonetta 3 announced as a Nintendo Switch exclusive - idk anything about Bayonetta, but I remember so many people were hyped for her entrance into Smash Bros, and I jumped on the hype train a little bit without knowing anything. She seems badass and a lot of people like the original games so eh i'm excited.
4. Sony and Hideo Kojima's game "Death Stranding" looks like something I'll never play, but the extended trailer was really fun to watch.
5. Some guy just called the entire Oscars trash and cussed them out straight into the camera. The balls on this guy. (And I thought it was great) (And the way he talked sounded like Tommy Wiseau)
Holy shit, still watching (the trailer for his game is on now and this guy is LITERALLY the Tommy Wiseau of video games. Name = Josef Fares.

Re: Video Games
So I just saw the trailer for a new game.
METRO EXODUS.
Given what I am seeing, and what Anna is saying, it more or less matches the theme of the Metro 2035 book.
