Awesome idea. So... if all versions of FLF are canon, does it mean the Sub2 sketch is canon too? It may be the lighthouse interior in any other layer.Vortex wrote:^yep. Thumpmonks always delivers
A thought: since Mateusz said the HD game takes place in the Layer 5 version of the original game, and we don't see many changes in it, that means that the locations must be near the Knot, right?
also because we see a part of the Temple in the HD

It's possible, now that you say it
I can't imagine how awesome would be a subverse location with the Sub2 sketch's versión of the lighthouse, to finally see what's behind the blood door. I know that's probably never going to happen but still...

No. Any official releases that you can actually finish are canon. They have to fit into larger plot of Submachine series and that mean being able to finish the game. Sketches do not count. Submachine Universe is a different experience... more of an exploration rather than game and intentionally so. Sketches was meant to be finished at some point, but was abandoned, so still not canon.PowersOf32 wrote:Awesome idea. And yes, iOS Submachine do counts as well. It probably took place in the 4th Layer, I guess? As do every other versions (ala Layers) of the Basement.

I don't think Sketch is canon.
well, ISubmachine trailer isn't canon (stated by Mati) but game itself... And what about original game, where only nine rooms are?

Mateusz said it wasn't canon.

original isn't part of the main series canon, as Mateusz said. I guess one could consider it part of the "alternate timeline" formed by Sub1 original + Sub2 sketch.
