I doubt we will ever see a portable navigator in SNEE as it would require Mateusz to make 6 more maps for every single location.
amount of rooms in SNEE x 6 = well, an unrealistic amount of new rooms.

When it comes to layer hopping, I think something like the device in 628 is more likely of showing up again in SNEE.

I dunno again.

I think that a room doesn't need to be conected only directly to the next layer, and if we get the navigator, only certain rooms from diferent "sectors" can have conections or not.

Example:

Room 1: This room belongs to Sector 17 that is currently conected with layer 3.
Room 2: This room belongs to Sector 3, currently disconnected from any other layer.
Room 3: This room belongs to Sector 11, currently conected with layer 4.
Room 4: This room belongs to Sector 22, Its conected with layer 2 and 6.
Room 5: This room belongs to Sector 11 and like Room 3, its conected with layer 4 due the fact that they belong from the same sector.

The layer connections are part of the plan; the plan is not a map.

Specifically, "The Plan" seems to refer to the fact that different layers have interlocking structures
