The puzzles use the same coordinates, the compass is merely correctly calibrated. The puzzles even work the same outside of Sub3 e.g. in Sub4. The Loop certainly has coordinates of its own.Redafro wrote:Mateusz has suggested the Navigator was placed there by someone though, and not a part of the location. So does it tap into an existing coordinate system, like a GPS, or does it have its own coordinate system it is calibrated to?

Re: The Physics of the Subnet
No, I meant the Z axis. X and Y cover the 1st and 2nd dimension, the Z axis covers the 3rd dimension. Its on the AutoCadd, if you use 3-D modeling.Rooster5man wrote:Which Z Coordinates? And which are you referring to, inside the Loop or the Geotags?
Being that the Layers are stacked on top of each other, and if you're saying the Geotags have the Z-axis component, why didn't it register that the other person was on a different Layer?
The Geo tags were made for 2 dimension They said they where in the same location, but couldn't find each other.

Re: The Physics of the Subnet
That's what I said a while back - about Geotags being only X and Y - but I think Abacus reminded me that they probably go in the Z direction too, but only for that Layer. We went on to label the direction that each Layer goes in as "W," I believe (the letter before X, Y and Z, to avoid confusion.)WorldisQuiet5256 wrote:No, I meant the Z axis. I understand 3D, you said:
Are you saying you meant coordinate, singular? What threw me off was the plural, "Coordinates," meaning more than 1 Z-Axis or something.I think it follow the Z coordinates, not the XY.

Z axis is in rooms like 806. Notice its "L" shape.
Also, the divice found in sub3 works like a GPS as well.

Hmm... why are we calling navigator "The Navigator"? In game it was called II0IIII or something like that.

Re: The Physics of the Subnet
The game given name was to show which layer you are in.
Nothing to do with it's real name.

Is this my final form?

And Mateusz told us what it actually is.

I don't see what The Cliffs have to do with anything...ENIHCAMBUS wrote:Z axis is in rooms like 806. Notice its "L" shape.

The I's represented potential Layers, the 0 represented the Layer we were on.borys610 wrote:Hmm... why are we calling navigator "The Navigator"? In game it was called II0IIII or something like that.

His point is that the Cliffs occupies three dimensional space. Which has little to do with anything as you said.Rooster5man wrote:I don't see what The Cliffs have to do with anything...ENIHCAMBUS wrote:Z axis is in rooms like 806. Notice its "L" shape.
