Dunno if this 100% belongs here, but to throw it out there.. me and Anonymous have meet up a few times in real life. Gonna respect him and spare the details, but thought I should chime in with something.
But to address the original question, I probably wouldn't believe it. It would take a lot of material proof and substance for me to allow it to sink in, because despite being a great universe I would need some real hard evidence for the character or characters to prove whom or what they were or who they are.
