i haven't much idea about programming, so i'll trust you guys in your decision.

and I approve of "sublevel explodes" :mrgreen:

so what about further developing the plot? is anyone willing to do it?

I mean, what advantage would UE offer that's relevant to the experience of, or process of creating, the game? Seems to me it'd just be a bulkier way of accomplishing the same thing.

If it's a screen-by-screen game like Subs then there's no need for UE. Submachine itself got that far with a somewhat "humble" engine. It ain't no Unity, no UE, no freakin' AAA developer engine, yet it rocks.

And I say, why make it a screen-by-screen game? Why not a fully 3D puzzle game like Portal?

because Portal 6 and Half life 6 will b released before this games comes.
