I think you're misunderstanding why I put that link up.

It's not an attempt to "curb theorizing" on my part. It's supposed to be a helpful reminder for everyone that there's a difference between "theorizing" and "putting thoughts together because they sound good and I saw that this thing is there and that thing is here so therefore I'm making this 'theory'".

Distinguishing between the two is important. And this is not just for newer users. When I first found this I gave it a good read and learned a lot from it myself.

Considering how many "theories" already catalogued on the wiki aren't really theories at all but strings of things that sound good, I'm putting this there so the theories that come out for the next generations are constantly better than the ones before.
