the first glimpse of the existence of the seven layers. How many memories. :P

I just realised that the big cannon in Layer 6 is a German Howitzer, and that the mountains in Layer 7 resambles the foggy mountains in USA.

Much things in this sector of the plan looks absorbed by the Subnet rather than builded. Maybe before the "event" the computer worked for "they".

Another two stupid questions:
1) We so much talked about plan. About boundaries. About that screen in Church (Layer 2) that shows part of room in every layer...
Someone thought that that strange capsule in right part of Layer 1 is Liz's escape pod....
But look again at screen when it shows Layer 1:
Image
Why the hell it shows capsule? Is it part of Plan?
If no... So, in this case, it shows something, placed behind the capsule?

2)When we appears on the Bay (layer 1) at the beginning, we can already see two activated devices. Beamers? And if so, does anyone know, why we can't go to Layer 2 (If we don't activate beamer at th bottom of location)?

Edit: Also, I have just noticed that monitor doesn't show energy coil if we look at screen before picking up the coil...

O_-
So... What purpose of this monitor? I mean, does it have connection with Plan? Or it just shows us than we can move between Layers, staying in the same place (another layer's position isn't far. It is actually here)?

While playing the game I had to cave to a walkthrough at the end. I made it all the way through, caving to the walkthrough but figuring everything out before reading it in the walkthrough. Then I got the gate on the fifth level to show up but not open. My first and pretty much only thought was "Hey, yeah I know there were those random things we can push in/out, they probably have a specific setup. Couldn't figure it out, had to go look it up. They mentioned it was according to the sheet with the lines (which I'd kind of half figured already) but I still could not make heads or tails of it. Ended up just finding the list that said "1 all the way in" and such.

But seriously, how is the paper/drawing supposed to represent those positions? I still could never figure it out.

Well, it tells — Layer #1 Lever on half, Layer #2 Lever all the way down, etc.
